This notice covers the Obsecurea marketing website only. The Chrome extension, desktop app, and any mobile service will need their own product-specific privacy disclosures before public release.
1. Who we are and what this covers
Obsecurea is a product in development by SeriousPixel, LLC. This notice describes information handled when you visit this static website or email us from a link on it. It does not describe a product that is available for installation today.
2. Information from a website visit
This site does not provide accounts, forms, advertising pixels, or analytics scripts. It uses no third-party font or JavaScript service. The site itself does not set tracking cookies or use browser storage.
As with most websites, the hosting provider may process technical request information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as your IP address, requested page, browser details, and time of access. Hosting logs and their retention are controlled by the provider's configuration and policies. We will review those settings before launch.
3. If you email us
When you choose an email link, your email app opens and you decide what to send. We may use the information in your message, including your address, to respond and handle your request. Your email provider and ours also process the message under their own policies. Please do not send sensitive images or other unnecessary personal information.
The website does not operate an automated mailing list or signup form. Asking about launch updates by email does not enroll you in one.
4. Children
This website is written for adults evaluating a future content-filtering product. We do not knowingly ask children to submit personal information through the site. If you believe a child has emailed us personal information, contact us so we can review the request and remove it where appropriate.
5. Future product privacy
Obsecurea is being designed to check content without keeping copies of flagged images. That is a design goal, not a description of a released service. Before any extension or app is offered publicly, we will publish a separate notice explaining its actual permissions, processing, storage, service providers, retention, and user choices.
